Where to play Pacific Gold slot
Pacific Gold slot design

The game seems to come into place once you find its stride as the game uncovers its secrets. Each action is joined by a heavy and menacing but exciting soundtrack.
The low-paying symbols consist of the Royals K, Q, J, and A. There are also Blue, Purple, Green, and Red tiles with different symbols as mid-paying symbols. Lastly, the premium symbols consist of the masks with blue, red, and purple colors together with the hero Kane himself. There’s also the gold Maltese cross Wild, Bomber Bonus, and more.
Pacific Gold slot features
Pacific Gold has an expanding grid with 6 reels and 4 to 8 rows. As the rows increase, the number of ways to win also increases. As the seventh game in the game series of ELK Studios, this slot features Big symbols, Avalanche mechanics, and other diverse innovations. If you’re wondering how its features come into play, let’s take them one by one.
The gold Maltese cross appears as the Wild symbol. It replaces all regular symbols except for the Bonus Scatter, Ghost Box, Power Stack, and Pacific Wave symbols.
There is also a Bonus Scatter symbol that appears as the Bomber aircraft. The Bonus Scatter symbol activates the bonus round.
All games in the Gold series come with an Avalanche game mechanic that triggers the cascading symbols to the grid. All winning combinations explode off the grid to make room for new symbols. New symbols that drop fill all empty spaces and a new row is added to the grid before a new Avalanche starts. If a new winning combination is created, the Avalanche repeats the process as long as more winnings connect.
Expanding Game Mechanic
The grid can have an additional row with each Avalanche until it reaches its maximum height. The Expanding game mechanic keeps adding 1 row to the grid until your 8 rows are complete.
All regular-paying symbols and Wild symbols can land as Big Symbols and vary in size:
- Normal = 1×1 tiles
- Super = 2×2 tiles
- Mega = 3×3 tiles
- Epic = 4×4 tiles
Big symbols are split and counted as 1×1 size when evaluating pays. The smaller symbols are also destroyed when tumbling down except for the Wilds, Bonus symbols, Ghost Box, Pacific wave, and Power Stack. Once a Big symbol stops, 1×1 symbols of the same type will fill all gaps below from an Avalanche.
Power Stack Symbols
The Power Stack symbols land in single sizes only and appears as a stack of four 1×1 symbols with a gold border. This means that it is a stack of 4 matching symbols. With each Avalanche round, the Power Stack symbols count will also increase by 2.
Once it became part of a winning combination, its count is added to the total winnings. For instance, landing 6 matching symbols with combined 6 Power Stack symbols pays 6x six of its kind.
Pacific Wave Symbols
The horizontal stack of symbols with 1×2, 1×3, or 1×4 sizes and wrapped in gold can land as Pacific Wave symbols. Wild symbols fill all vacant spaces right below the Pacific Wave. Also, all Pacific Wave symbols remain locked on the grid unless they become part of a winning combination removed from the grid. These symbols can be pushed down the grid as well by Big symbols.
Ghost Box Symbols
The embossed skull on a metal plate appears as the Ghost Box symbol. All winning symbols are collected and stored from an Avalanche whenever a Ghost Box symbol lands on the reels. The Big symbols are also divided and collected as smaller (1×1 size) symbols. Once no more winnings occur after the cascading symbols, the Ghost Box symbols will explode.
At the same time, all collected symbols are distributed to a new Avalanche round. These symbols are distributed row by row in order from those with the biggest amounts to the smallest. If there are equal numbers, the ones with the highest value symbol always come first.
Pacific Gold Bonus Drops
You can trigger the Pacific Gold Bonus Drops if you land 3 to 6 Bonus symbols that come with 10 to 24 Bonus Drops. But if you land 3 or more Bonus symbols during the Drop, you can retrigger the Bonus Drops with the same rewards. Each time you win, the Safety Level in the Bonus Drops feature increases and moves up a single row up to 8 rows.
The highest level you achieved will not reset until the end of the Pacific Gold Bonus Drop feature. There is at least 1 Pacific Wave is guaranteed on each drop during the bonus round. Also, a Ghost Box symbol will remain in play until the Bonus Drops are expired before its contents are released by the end.
As a known feature in ELK Studios, Pacific Gold also has the X-iter feature. You can choose different spin scenarios from these 5 options for an extra stake:
- Big Symbol = 1 drop and a Big symbol for 5x the bet.
- Pacific Wave = 1 drop and a Pacific Wave for 10x the bet.
